Darren Espanto takes to his Instagram to share released information from United Nations.
In his post, Darren shares a photo of himself in the forest with the caption “The UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that 33 million acres of forest lands around the world are lost each year due to mining, logging, clearing for crops, cattle and housing, wildfires, and acid rain.
In line with World Wildlife Day, he encourages his fans to check out how they can help “protect our forests and save threatened species that live in them”. He says that “your actions today can have a great impact on the future of our planet”.
Darren Espanto is a Filipino-Canadian singer and actor well-known for his cover songs such as Chandelier, originally sung by Sia. He first joined a competition at the age of ten, where he won the Masters Finals of the Pinoy Singing Sensation competition.
